The Orlando Magic have come to terms with the Phoenix Suns on a sign and trade deal for Jameer Nelson, DeShawn Stevenson and Al Jefferson. Jameer will be the first of the three to be signed. We would like to point out that Jameer WILL be starting point guard for the Phoenix franchise that already will have plenty of talent to go around. Nelson has proven that he can lead star-studded teams through his work on the Eastern Conference Champs and we wish him all the luck on his new squad.
Our offer is as follows:
Year 1: $5,000,000 Year 2: $5,500,000 Year 3: $6,000,000 Year 4: $6,500,000 (Player Option)
2008-09: 58,131,104 (After extension w/ Orlando's cap space) However, we would like to point out that the cap space will be Phoenix, not our own.
This is a four year, 23 million dollar contract that we see as fitting for a young talent like Jameer. He will have the player option in his final year as a "just-in-case" scenario but we fully expect Jameer to be very happy leading the Suns offense this season.

Jameer likes the PO, but he would like to see more money-wise. He's ok with going to Phoenix, but he'd like to see at least 7mil/year to sign.

7 million/year is a pretty steep price but we would like to match his offer to complete the first step in this sign and trade deal.
1st year: $7,000,000 2nd year: $7,000,000 3rd year: $7,500,000 4th year: $8,000,000 (Player Option)
4 year, 29.5 million contract.
Please let us know how Jameer feels about this latest contract

He accepts this offer, and is looking forward to leading a Phoenix team, whatever their direction.
