We would like to offer Dorell Wright a 4 year contract extension worth 11 million dollars.
Year 1: $2,000,000 Year 2: $2,500,000 Year 3: $3,000,000 Year 4: $3,500,000
We feel Dorell has a great future ahead of him, and we'd like to keep him around for at least the next 4 years. Looking at other offers for young players who have not yet made themselves starters, we feel this is a competitive offer.
08/09: $26,534,360 09/10: $10,000,000 10/11: $3,000,000 11/12: $3,500,000

We are very disappointed in your offer and believe that Dorell deserves more money up front, especially for someone of his abilities and youth. His stats, although not deserving of a starting position on any individual team, still warrant more than 2 million for next year. Dorell will give you one more chance to prove your interest in him.

While we do feel the offer was fair, and certainly not "very disappointing," we will up our offer because we do love what Dorell brings to the table. After looking at Delonte West's newly signed contract, we feel Dorell is pretty close to his value, but slightly less proven. Delonte has started on a playoff team IRL, while Dorell has yet to nail down a starting role.
However, we do feel he's a great talent and has just not been in the best situation prior to coming over to LAC. We up our offer to the following: 4 years, $15,500,000
Year 1: $3,500,000 Year 2: $3,500,000 Year 3: $4,000,000 Year 4: $4,500,000
We hope this is at least good enough for Dorell to continue negotiations, and feel it is a great offer for him to be able to accept and feel he is getting paid fairly right now.
The ball is in your court :-)

Excellent offer, and compared to what u offered previously u almost doubled it in the first year. But regardless, Dorell couldn't be happier and would love to accept your offer
