The Golden State Warriors would like to extend Andris Biedrins' contract a 4 year deal worth $37,000,000
year 1: $7,500,000 year 2: $8,500,000 year 3: $10,000,000 year 4: $11,000,000 (Player Option)
Total Salary
year 1: $66,529,831 year 2: $19,075,000 year 3: $20,373,000 year 4: $22,158,000
Andris Biedrins is our #1 priority this offseason. He will be our starting Center. He is a key player that will help us reach the playoffs again and go further this time and many years to come. Plus his 4th year he can decide if he wants to stay with us or opt out.

Andris flattered by your offer and loves the look of the end of his offer. However, since this is a player's market this off-season. He would like to request slightly more money up front or an explanation as to what you plan on doing with the remaining money. Mr. Biedrins is not looking for much up front, he simply recognizes that the Golden State franchise has more to spend and questions why more of the cap room was not spent on their "#1 Priority" this off-season.

We are planning with the extra cap room to sign a key starting or bench player that will help us go forward in the playoffs. However, we could add more salary up front to have Andris happy. 4 years worth $37,495,169
year 1: $7,970,169 year 2: $8,525,000 year 3: $10,000,000 year 4: $11,000,000 (Player Option)
Total Salary
year 1: $67,000,000 year 2: $19,100,000 year 3: $20,373,000 year 4: $22,158,000

A bump to 8.5 million and a second player option and Andris will agree to stay in Cali to play some ball. He loves the franchise and would be happy to resign pending these adjustments. If not, then he requests that GS GM provide a list of potential FA that would need the extra cap to resign as opposed to a 2.5 million starting year contract.

Andris Biedrins will be wearing the orange and blue next season and could not be happier. He appreciates the consideration and can't wait to begin the season
