D-Wade, "I'm done in Indy"
What a roller coaster ride it has been so far for All-star SG Dwayne Wade. Not only is he in China playing for team USA but has been part of numerous rumors that he was on his way out of Indiana. Dwayne was quoted after his game against Spain saying, "I'm sick of the rumors and am sick of Indy, Everyday it seems like I'm heading to a new place, I cant even keep track anymore. All I know is that I've talked with upper management and said I demand a trade."
Now Dwayne has a right to be mad. There have been a number of trades rejected by the Trade Committee where they believe the trade has been unfair. Wade's agent has said he solely blames this on the Pacers general manager. His agent also went on to say, "This is just getting ridiculous, Dwayne is one of the top players in the league and this guy is trading him off for sub-par unproven players"
Last night a new development broke though that had D-Wade going to yet another team. The New York Knicks. The deal would send Big Man Andrew Bynum and Guard Raja Bell along with the rights to Russel Westbrook and Eric Gordon to Indiana for Wade. This trade looks like Indiana is finally getting some value back and could be the trade that finally end this on-going story.
If the trade goes through be sure to check back in our trade analysis thread for a detailed description on the trade and who won it, and well if it doesn't then you know the story. The Indiana GM will still be looking for a trade partner and Wade will be possibly headed out to another team, again.
Well until then, signing off
