Hold onto your hats folks, my pick is Tampa Bay.
Seriously. They have the offence to compete with almost anyone (and in theory it should get better because all thier younger players are a year older) and they might finally have some half decent picthing. Kazmir is a stud, no question. James Shields might have been the best pitcher no one heard of last year (3.85 ERA, 184 K's, 1.11 WHIP in 215 IP.) and Matt Garza looks pretty promising, even if he might not be quite there yet (breakout year?). The pieces are there for a solid, possibly outstanding (with a little luck) top 3 of the rotation.
And after those three, they have a pretty good looking prospect in Jeff Neimann (Baseball America's 35th ranked prospect last year) who is expected to make the team this year. Not to mention that they are absolutley stacked with prospects (7 guys in the top 100 prospects last year. Not to mention the guys who are already on the team) so they have lots of options in terms of possibly trading for pitching. Although that would require them to spend money. Which they seem to hate like the plague.
Whether its this year or next year, the days of the Devil Rays being the joke of the AL East are numbered IMO.
Another one is the Jays, if everything falls into place the Jays , I really think they could make some noise, inspite of what most other people say. We got a nice young staff, BJ Ryan is healthy again and our D improved majorly (Rolens and Eckstein)

I like the drays and what they've done this off season. Getting Garza for Young was huge. They needed pitching more than hitting
I will make a MLB superlatives and predictions thread for everyone in a sec.

Cain, Lincecum, Lowry, Zito that should be a devastating Pitching staff.

I think my M's could make some noise and win the West. The Rangers are already out of contention. The A's are in a from the scraps rebuilding mode and the Angels already have health concerns to key players. If the M's stay healthy and Richie Sexson gives them anything look out.
