i dont really understand much of this trade all i can see here is Sura + pick for Scola but scola, TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS, for 3 mediocore players who wont really improve in ratings at all if any? and just a second round pick? but i guess if u look at Scola's contract thats probably why ur getting rid of him, so actually this is a good trade haha interesting to see other people's comments/ decisions/

I accept. Scola's contract is bad, but two 1st round picks are worth more than the money.

I reject. Scola and 2 firsts for pretty much a 2nd? Scola's contract maybe bad, but it was Boston who signed him.

I signed him so I am stuck with him. I am sorry but that makes no sense. I get rid of a contract I don't want, and Houston gets a couple first round picks to help his rebuilding efforts.

I think its decent not horrible. Im trying to make this league balanced talent wise, so im thinking about accepting this.
Trading draft picks and a decent young player for expirings and a 2nd rounder.
gimme some time and i will have an answer

Trading draft picks and a decent young player for expirings and a 2nd rounder. gimme some time and i will have an answer I don't want to clutter this thread with discussions back and forth, I just want to further explain my reasoning for this. I have deals in place that could be getting me Jason Kidd, Leandro Barbosa, and Juan Carlos Navarro. That would give me what I feel is solid starting 5 with Kidd, Barbosa, Durant, Odom, and Frye. Both Kidd and Odom expire after next season. Having Scola's big contract on the books will make it hard to damn near impossible to re-sign both. I also have to take into account that a few years down the line I will also have to re-sign Durant. This trade gets me what I want in cap space, and he gets the first round picks he wants.

Exactly. I would do this trade if I were him. Scola and his contract will hurt my team, but the picks are nice, and I need that more than money. He doesn't.

I'll accept it also. Reminds me a little of the trade the Suns (in real NBA) did at the beginning of the year or during offseason, giving the Sonics a few draft picks to take Kurt Thomas from them. But in this case Scola has a huge contract for like 5 years still. More or less, it's ok looking at the plus and minus from both sides.
Accept.
