This is a good enough trade. Dampier's contract is ridiculous, but Ray Allen's is huge and something around Dampier's size needed to be added for salary purposes anyway. Gordon will need to be resigned after this year also.
Basically Gordon/Dampier for Allen is close to fair, though advantage Allen side, but Damp's contract stinks and gordon will need to be resigned, so to make up for those things the 1st is added, and it's good enough for me.
Accept.

Dampier has that contract because of his experience I believe... so Gordon is going back to Chicago...

Accept, I'm pretty sure the Bulls have good enough cap space to re-sign Gordon this year whereas Dallas struggles there a bit. Dallas compliments Dirk with a 3-point threat in Allen while dumping Dampier.

i accept this trade, i cant really see too much purpose in this deal for either team for that matter, but it does look fair enough

This is borderline for me. Ray Allen is a "great" scorer in a sim league, while Gordon is a "good" scorer. Also, I dont see how Dampier will help the Bulls, who already have Chandler, Hawes, Mihm, Sweetney, & TT as big men. He will just be lost on the bench and will contribute close to nothing. Not to mention that he is pretty much un-tradeable due to his ridiculous contract.
I am going to accept because of that 1st rounder. Dallas is in a real deep western conference and that pick might end up in the lottery if he doesn't make the playoffs.
TRADE IS APPROVED
