yea like i said, if the bobcats added the 6th overall and got rid of the 26th it would be a lot better.

yea but that is not a reason to reject the trade...getting rid of that salary opens up so much for them...it just looks bad in teh trade write up because it doesnt show the salary they get rid of

I agree. getting rid of 22 million is a BIG THING, but it is not a GUARRANTEE that your going to get an MVP-TYPE PLAYER to replace garnett. at least with the 6th pick you'll have two good rookies to build your team around.

but how many "good" players did the t'wolves get back? gomes is ok, ratliff will only play if there is no other decent center, brewer could be a star in this league but it will take a while, telfair has done nothing, and green has talent but needs a lot of playing time to realize it
I'm not saying it is a great trade but the cap room has to play a large part. It gives him more options in the future in trading and signing FA's. Just my 2cents.

I've been debating back and forth on this one, which for me means it's probably fair overall.
KG is amazing, there is no doubting that, but he is around 10 years older than the 1st pick, which should grow into a player ranked in the 90s I would think. You get to save a TON of money trading away Garnett, and this draft is pretty decent. I wouldn't have had to think about it much if it was the 6th pick also in there, but as it is, I'm going to accept. It's not bad enough for me to reject it basically. I don't really think it's that bad at all.

not exactly because there can be more than 4 rejections, in this case 5.
but i think LAC made a good point in the last vote so we'll see what Twolves comes up with
