The Hawks offer Mr. Bynum....
09/10: $1,000,000 10/11: $1,500,000 12/13: $1,500,000 13/14: $2,500,000 14/15: $2,500,000 (player option)
5 years / $9,000,000
The Hawks organization would be thrilled to have Mr. Bynum as the backup shooting guard and third point guard. He would be the 6th/7th man and provide instant scoring off the bench. The organization eventually sees Bynum competing for the starting shooting guard job and if that doesn't work out he will be the 6th man for many years to come.

Ok, we have questions for all teams here. First, the frontrunner...
ATL - How can Will be the 6th/7th man when there are 9 non-starters on your team/draft rights who have better ratings than him already? We doubt you would really get all that much time with Louis Williams, Brandon Rush, and then Jrue Holiday (draft rights) in those parts.
That said, the money is significantly more than what either of the other teams are offering. Will might accept the offer immediately if a player option is put in year 3 or 4.
DET - Will is a little upset with the amount of money offered. Also, what kind of role can he expect in Detroit? You've just signed Anthony Johnson as backup PG, and have Ricky Davis presumably taking some backup SG minutes.
SAC - Your offer is equally as bad as DET's...maybe a little worse considering DET has shown he wants Will a little more with that extra year. Also, you have good guard depth already, with 4 guards on your bench already with better ratings than Will.
As of now, unless offers get larger, Will will probably sign with ATL, but anything can change if the right offer comes along.
Please express any interest or update offers quickly. Mr. Bynum will be making a decision before long.

The only player playing ahead of him at SG is the starting shooting guard. Louis Williams will be a PG/SG, Rush a SF/SG, and Holiday a PG/PG when the lineups are ready to be posted. Bynum will be the backup shooting guard. Not only that but his rating should be getting a considerable bump (4 points or more) which should rectify any competition with Lou Williams for the backup shooting guard role. He will battle Williams for the 6th/7th man role (this year) as both can score and score in bunches.

Also, Louis is a 74 if I remember correctly, so even a big jump of 4-6 points leaves him behind Louis and maybe even with Rush, who is a 72. Still, atlanta is the fav as of now.

Also, you have good guard depth already, with 4 guards on your bench already with better ratings than Will. Well, Mr. Bynum was planned to be our 1st priority as the backup PG. As we are over the cap and cannot offer anymore than the minimum to Mr. Bynum, we felt that we had no shot at getting him with Atl's offer. But, if he is willing to take less $$, we'll offer him a 5yr deal and any options he wants. Our 1st order of business IF he were to sign with us is to petition to get him a rating increase. His numbers are as good if not better than some of the other free agent G's that have signed or are about to sign. We plan to put Rush/Telfair on the IR to make room for Bynum to get plenty of PT. Again, our apologies to the PA and Mr. Bynum for the low initial offer. 09/10: $500,000 10/11: $1,000,000 12/13: $1,500,000 13/14: $2,000,000 14/15: $2,500,000 Total: $7,500,000

Ok, so first off, the ratings change will be warranted, but again, it won't happen until after this season.
So, secondly, Will is looking at similar PT from both teams (DET has been eliminated due to no activity in this thread since April 2nd). Both have players rated better than him at their backup Guard positions, but both would like for Will to be their 6th/7th type of man off the bench, or in the least the backup PG or SG, depending on the team.
Unfortunately for you SAC, it has to come down to the money, and he can get more in ATL plus a little bit of flexibility with that Player Option in year five. For the record, the option isn't the deal breaker, it's the more money, period. The Option is just icing on the cake.
Mr. Bynum signs with the Atlanta Hawks.
Update your charts ASAP.
