(Priority #1 Chris Anderson)
The Celtics would like to offer Chris a 5 year $13,500,000 contract. With the recent addition of Lewis, we feel this team could compete for a championship, and we would love for Chris to be a key part of the team. As far as his role on the team is concerned, he would be our starting PF.
Year 1- $1,500,000 Year 2- $2,000,000 Year 3- $3,000,000 (Player Option) Year 4- $3,000,000 (Player Option) Year 5- $4,000,000 (Player Option)
2009-10- $69,738,661 2010-11- $66,211,956 2011-12- $28,000,000 2012-13- $19,500,000 2013-14- $20,500,000

The Houston Rockets would like to extend an offer to Chris for 5 years $17,000,000
Year 1 : $3,000,000 Year 2 : $3,500,000 Year 3 : $3,500,000 Year 4 : $3,500,000 Year 5 : $3,500,000
2009 - $68,680,970 2010 - $50,861,970 2011 - $11,300,000 2012 - $24,300,000
Here in Houston, we would love to have Chris "The Birdman" Andersen. We feel that Chris has a unique skill set that would fit in well with this Rockets team. He is a hustle player that plays great defense, gets rebounds, and makes the extra effort. He would be joining the froncourt of Drew Gooden and Brendan Haywood. With the roster that we have there are many options for Chris. He would begin his tenure here as the 6th man for the Rockets, but there would be a great possibility that he could beat out either Gooden or Haywood for the starting PF or C position. The GM could see a frontcourt of Gooden/Birdman or Birdman/Haywood to go along with CP3, The Matrix, and Caron. We feel that he would get plenty of minutes here and would be able to produce on a team that may suprise a few people. We love his physical play and tough attitude and hope to hear soon how he would feel being a Rocket

GSW your offer is invalid, you do not have the MLE. The MLE is for people that were over the cap when FA started.

Ok, first thing's first - GSW, do you have any money to make a real offer on Chris or no?
Second, since DET withdrew his offer (I deleted his offer and the post saying he withdrew to clean up the thread a little), it looks like Chris is deciding between the Lakers, Rockets, and Celtics right now.
LAL - Your money is the best out of the current valid offers. Also, the starting spot is the best situation available for Chris as far as PT. He is not that accustomed to playing a starting role, but you have very solid backups in Foster and Zaza, so all of the burden would not be on him, which is great. Right now, you are the leader for gaining Mr. Andersen's services.
HOU - While your money is close to LAL, it is clearly less, so that remains advantage Lakers. Also, LAL has shown a little more committal and desire to have Mr. Andersen with the additional year on the contract. As for playing time, Chris see's that he would basically be in a 3-headed monster at your PF and C positions, which normally would be just fine with him. If not for LAL's offer and starting spot, we would be happy to sign with the Rockets. As it currently stands though, LAL is the front-runner.
BOS - Your money is the worst of the group, and while generally solid in the long run, it is not a good start to your comparison with Chris' other suitors. Also, since Rashard signed, we assume we no longer have a starting PF spot locked up? What is the plan there? We see that Chris would be the primary backup PF/C, which is great, but being rated much lower than the starting PF and C, it is less time than the backup position in HOU, and clearly less time than the starting C job in LAL.
Right now that is the order of preference for Chris - LAL (#1), HOU (#2), and BOS (#3).
We will wait a day or two max to hear from these teams, and then make our decision.

Here in Houston, we would love to have the Birdman in this frontcourt rotation. We have added another year along with 2,000,000 more on top of that for a 5 year total of 17,000,000. On this team, we cannot promise him a starting spot immediately, but we do feel that he has a tremendous chance of breaking into the starting lineup at either the 4 or the 5. Chris is not one to shy away from the competition or the challenge, so we feel that this challenge to him will motivate him greatly. We are going to play with the lineups and see what gives the best result, but we do feel that Chris will fit in well with the defensive frontcourt that is establish already in Houston and he will have a great chance to start and make a huge impact on this up and coming team

Chris Anderson would still be our starting PF alongside Amare in the frontcourt. The starting line-up would be Brooks, Durant, Lewis, Anderson, Amare.

Chris has made his decision. Based on the most money as well as the most (or tied for the most) playing time, Mr. Andersen will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Update your charts ASAP.
