The Sacramento Kings would like to offer Marvin Williams a contract of 4yrs = 21.5M
09: $5,000,000 10: $5,000,000 11: $5,500,000 (PO) 12: $6,000,000 (TO)
Marvin was one of the Kings star players last season. The Kings have made significant moves already this off season to try and improve their line-up. Sacramento drafted Blake Griffin and completed trades to bring Luis Scola and Elton Brand into the mix. Since Marvin didn’t get any rating increase during the off we feel this offer is fair for his current rating. Marvin is probably going to be moving soon after this extension negotiation is complete in a SnT deal where he will get plenty of PT on his new team.

My client would like to know where he is going before any contract is signed.

Any word on what kind of role my client will have with the Pacers? That would be a question for Marv's new owner. I can't speculate on another owners plans.

Alright I got my ruling from OKC on this, unless Indiana steps in and tells us what role Marvin will play, my client will accept a 4 year 24 M dollar deal (6 M per year) with a PO after year 3.
