Offering: $25,000,000 for 2 years
Year 1: $12,000,000 Year 2: $13,000,000 (PO)
This is not the same team that Rashard opted out of and we want to bring him in and be the leader of the team. We have a great bench and quality starters. He will come in and start immediately.

I have a conflict of interest here, can someone with less cap space do this maybe? I know I would give him more money than this....

I appreciate your honesty here and not even taking a stab at it...very respectable! I as well have conflict of interest however, so maybe LAC could help out here

What about the expiring contracts on the Mavs? From what I saw Kidd and Marion will be FA

For what it's worth, I actually don't have any cap left...After the Lee trade I have like 8 mil left, and that's definitely not getting anyone like Shard.
So, I'll go for it. If OKC wants to override this decision, that's fine with me.
As PA for Shard: Rashard and I have looked over this contract, and the FA market, and we just feel we can get a much better contract. While we think you have made some moves, we still want to see what else is on the market, what teams might be interested. Also, we're looking for a little more money, and we want a longer contract. This is probably Rashard's last big contract that he can get, and we just want to see what else is out there.
Rashard declines the offer. You are still free to offer for Rashard in regular Free Agency, but he will decline the contract extension for now.
Good luck in FA.
