The Orlando Magic would like to announce that Chris Paul will be traded in an upcoming deal with Houston Rockets. Therefore, I will be re-signing Chris using my cap space, but then shipping him off to Houston in the following deal.
CP3 Yao
for
Jamison Mayo Billups Parker
The Houston Rockets, by way of the Orlando Magic, would like to offer CP3 the following deal. This makes Chris the second player in Legends history to be offered a max contract. His skills are elite and after Dwight earned top dollar for being the best center in the league, Chris will earn top dollar for being one of the best PGs in the league.
4 year/$80 million.
Year 1: $20 million Year 2: $20 million Year 3: $20 million (Player Option) Year 4: $20 million (Team Option)
Orlando's current cap before the trade is $20,370,432.

I need Houston's cap space, not yours.
Otherwise, you are re-signing him to your team and then trading him. Not really a sign and trade per se.

Gotcha
Well, we appreciate you putting the actual trade in your post and Chris really likes the idea of going to H-Town with Yao. 80 million is the most money you can get in this league per extensions so that is set.
No real reservations at all. Houston GM has proved himself over the last 2 seasons and the franchise is getting better.
