Some interesting draft day picks today.
There are plenty of late rd. draft picks who's impact I'd like to see in the pro's but there's 2 guys I am particularly interested in seeing.
I want to see what Dezmon Briscoe (not great but pretty underrated) and Myron Rolle (we all know his story by now) will do in the pro's.
Both of them are very good fits with their team.

Hey LA, whatcha think 'bout the Seahawks' draft?
I love the acquisitions of White and Washington. White is a bruiser, between the tackles runner and Washington was great before he got injured last season. The trio of White, Washington and Forsett should strengthen our running game.

I thought they were winners yesterday (I just had 3 more winners ahead of them, but SEA is a winner in the draft) I like the moves they have done with Okung, Tate, Thomas and McCoy. I love the White and Washington additions that means bye bye Julius Jones for Seahawks fans (I am sure your pretty pissed with that guy). The one thing I am kinda disappointed is that SEA did not go after another OT, I thought they needed another O-Linemen if they were to become a playoff team immediately (I still think 49ers and Cardinals are better then them, ATLEAST FOR THIS YEAR), but all in all I have the Seahawks as the third biggest winners in this draft after the 49ers and Lions (I'll drop the Cowboys to 4th after the overall draft).

I think White is a piece of shit to be honest, but I really agree with two of LAL's pick. 49ers: Mike Singletary got him some winners, taking 2 OFFENSIVE LINEMEN IN THE 1ST ROUND! I bet David Carr is sitting at home smiling because he finally has some protection and a chance to start! Mays was suppose to be a top 10 pick early in the draft, not sure what happened but Singletary can motivate very well! Rams: They should have taken Suh (which I agree with DET, Lions are getting better.) Braford is the next David Carr book it, that team has NOTHING but Stephen Jackson and are going to suck. If they take Suh they have the best young Dline in the league with Chris Long, Suh, and Adam Carricker (sp?) They could have taken Suh and traded Jackson to a contender (they need to, poor guy) and get some extra picks and taken Clausen, Tebow, or Mccoy. Things aren't going to change over night for the Rams, they need to suck for a few years. Also correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Broncos have Orton, Quinn, and Tebow on the roster, so to active Tebow you are going to have to either A. waste a roster spot on him or B. have him cover kickoffs and/or punts? Makes no sense, and none of those guys seem like guys you can put on practice squad or cut.

Tebow will just be third string if he doesn't show much in camp. Who knows? Maybe Tebow comes into camp and completely outplays Orton and Quinn and is named the starter from day one (unlikely but possible).

Maybe Tebow comes into camp and completely outplays Orton and Quinn and is named the starter from day one (unlikely but possible). Most teams only carry 2, the 3rd guy is an emergency QB. Meaning he can only play either A. Until the 4th Quarter B. If he plays before that point, the other two can not return. So possible options the Broncos have if Tebow is 3rd string and want to use him in Wildcat packages, I can't see him beating out Orton and/or Quinn. A. Make the backup of Quinn/Orton the 3rd QB, but if the starter gets hurt the other one can't come into the 4th quarter or Tebow can't play anymore. Eagles did this with Vick and Kolb some last year. B. Waste a roster spot on Tebow and hurt your special teams. C. Have Tebow play special teams. D. Don't run Tebow out of the Wildcat until the 4th quarter.

Where's the talk of the Wildcat? Also, for how badly Quinn played last year why would he get the nod at backup if the Broncos do want to run some Wildcat with Tebow. Actually I would like to see him play some special teams. He's strong and tough enough. Maybe not every single kick/punt return but say every second or third. I still can't believe McDaniels of all people took him in the 1st round when he could easily have slipped to the 3rd round or even 4th. I'm sure the Broncos had more pressing needs than backup/future QB.

Most of the experts think he can run some wildcat in the short term, when they drafted him I figured they would try to use that. I'm assuming Quinn is the #2 QB, not a total given but I think Quinn's woes were more the Browns than him. Point is it will be interesting to see what they do with Tebow, I agree with your last sentence though, they must really believe in Tebow to draft him at 25. Orton's not old plus Quinn, they should be okay at QB for a while.
