I am in love with David Carr!

Carr has better raw talent, but i think Sorgi is more fundamentally sound and would be a better starting qb. That's only if holding a clipboard is any indication of how a player will perform.

David Carr is a good QB, he lead the Texans to a 7-9 season before they got all there good D players (Ryans, Cushings, Williams, etc.) No one ever thinks about that and he put up some good #'s, I think he will do big things with Singletary and the 9ers! What say you Clippy!?!??!

Uh...Patrick Willis is the shit, you watch your f**king mouth lol.
Shaun hill, I don't want him at all.
Alex Smith vs. Carr should be fun...my guess is Smith will start though, Carr there as a great backup and great competition to him.

But in Carr's defense he had the WORST O-LINE in NFL history, I believe he got sacked 72 times once didn't he.

Patrick Willis is a great player but that was a bullshit comment, Vick is the best WILDCAT QB in the league but he never could drop back and I doubt Fat Andy fixed him. He needs to play some slot/wildcat QB and he can contribute, send him to Miami! Carr is a legit QB and MUCH better than Vick with pure QB skills. Alex Smith didn't impress me a lot and Carr's biggest problem is pocket present, but he can make things happen. Singletary wants winners and picked the best man for the job. My prediction, IF the 49ers start the Carr... Superbowl XXXXV: San Francisco 49ers 17, New York Jets 14

Donovan McNabb on the trading block sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5028997I heard the Raiders were willing to offer Nnamdi for McNabb. I think that's a BIG MISTAKE. I know he is making 15 million and all, but is it worth trading Nnamdi's big contract for McNabb who might not even stay with your team after this current season. Also Nnamdi is the best CORNERBACK in the NFL, why the heck will you trade him for a one and done QB in McNabb.

Derrelle Revis says hello. I agree with ya tho. The Raiders are sucky enough without trading good young players like Asomugha for someone like McNabb who's just about done.

His arm is big enough...remember the goal post thing? Don't matter how strong your arm is if you can't hit your WR. That's why water pistol armed Chad Pennington is still in the league, cause he's a accurate QB, and guys like Russell, Jeff George, and Mike Vick who has gun of a arm but can't hit a WR if their life depended on it. Not saying that's true for all strong armed QB cause Big Ben, Favre, Cutler, Stabler, Young, Montana, Marino and others have a GUN of an ARM, but they were accurate as well. Jaworthless Russell is garbage period, he's out of shape and does not care, he got this fame from one game against a overrated Notre Dame Defense when playing for LSU.

I don't know I haven't seen Jamarcus play that much but I'm tired of people running down these high picks that were on shitty teams and saying they suck. Carr, Alex Smith, Tim Couch, guys like that never got a chance. If you have no protection you can't do anything, period end of statement.

Alright post your Winners and Losers of the Draft, and 2 teams picks that you cannot be sure of until the players REALLY PLAY and pick 3 teams picks that really didn't make sense at all.
Winners
1. San Francisco 49ers - GREAT MOVE getting 2 O-Line, they just made Smith/Carr and Frank Gore's life a lot easier.
2. Detroit Lions - Suh and Best are solid picks, Suh will be a perennial pro-bowler while Best gives them a solid option in the perimeter (where they can run a lot of HB screens, and those sorts of plays)
3. Dallas Cowboys - Yeah they needed a LT, but I guess Jerry Jones is still haunted by those Randy Moss moments, and he made sure there isn't going to be another Randy Moss moment again. This also helps in other ways, they can now get rid of Williams OR if Miles Austin does not sign a long-term contract with the team he can immediately step in and replace both of those guys.
Losers
1. Jacksonville Jaguars - WHAT THE ***** ARE THEY DOING, Tyson Alualu, really, talk about a REACH, they needed help at WR and the secondary and they went with a reach DT, if they wanted a DT why not draft Dan Williams
2. St. Louis Rams - Sam Bradford is not a bad player and hopefully he does well, but St. Louis has no O-LINE PROTECTION and no WR and now a QB who has durability issues, really that's a great pick St. Louis, especially when you could of solidified your defense with Suh.
3. Buffalo Bills - If they were so desperate for a running back why not just trade your 2nd and 4th for a 1st instead of wasting your 9th pick on CJ Spiller. I am not saying that Spiller is a horrible player but the Bills need a LT, QB, AND A WR before they need another RB, is it gonna kill them if they just went with Fred Jackson another year, or drafted a guy like Ben Tate or Joe McKnight in round 2 or 3, stupid move by the Bills, CJ Spiller is a solid player and he will do well in the NFL as an all-purpose back, but man the Bills blew the gasquets on this one.
Can't tell if they are Winners/Losers until the players played
1. Denver Broncos - DeMariyus Thomas is an interesting pick, especially since they just replaced Brandon Marshall, but from what I heard people think he is a poor man's Brandon Marshall with the exception of he's a better deep threat then Marshall is, we really won't know how good he'll be until we some production/lack of on the field. Of course we can't leave Tebow outta this, It's going to be interesting if he can become a great QB one day, we know about his flaws, it's time to see if by year 3-4 he becomes a great QB or a BUST.
2. Philadelphia Eagles - I didn't understand this pick at all considering the Eagles weakness in the secondary, but Brandon Graham could become a solid DE or OLB for the Eagles, they have Trent Cole locked up at one spot and Graham could give Juqua Parker a run for his money at the other DE spot, Graham has a chance to become the Lamar Woodley of DE's.
3 teams picks that didn't pick sense
1. Indianapolis Colts - Jerry Hughes really. I know they lost Raheem Brock in the offseason but COME ON, you have Mathis and Freeney and if you wanted an undersized DE you could of waited in rd. 2 or 3 to get someone, Hughes is a solid player and will be effective on the speedy turf they use at LOS, but DE wasn't really a need for them, if anything DT AND OT were HUGE NEEDS for the Colts, Another headscratching move by Bill Polian (just like last year with Donald Brown).
2. New England Patriots/New Orleans Saints (TIED) - I didn't understand either of those teams picks, especially the Patriots considering they have Bodden, Butler, Wheatley, and Wilhite on the team, this is just a wasted pick on McCourtney, and they could of moved up to get a TE such as Gresham or selected Dez Bryant to replace Randy Moss for the FUTURE, or help out at OLB by selecting a Jerry Hughes to help their pass rush. New Orleans pick JUST AS CONFUSING, you already have Tracy Porter, Randall Gay, and Jabari Greer at CB, and I know they are moving Malcom Jenkins to FS to replace Darren Sharper but come on to waste the pick on another CB especially since Sergio Kindle was available to replace Scott Fujita (who left for CLE), just an unusual move by both of these teams.
3. New York Giants - Yeah I am WELL AWARE that pass-rushing was a problem for the Giants, but to use the pick on another DE since you already have Kiwi, Osi, and Tuck, ESPECIALLY since they needed a LB (could of gone after Weatherspoon) to replace Antonio Pierce and that LB was actually a need, unless they are actually thinking about moving Kiwi/Osi for LB this move does not make any sense to me, your just loading up on part time DE's basically.

I want to punch Jerry Jones in the junk for trading up and picking Sean Lee. I like Lee a lot but they needed a safey OR an offensive tackle not another linebacker. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Love what the Seahawks were able to do. Okung is projected to be a stud LT, I think he'll be better than Trent Williams, so I was hoping the whole time that the 'Skins would pass up on Okung for Williams. Maybe now Hasselbeck won't get wreaked every year. And the Earl Thomas pick was a no brainer. We had 2 active safeties on our roster. It was between him, Derrick Morgan, and Pierre-Paul at 14 for me. Idk about Golden Tate, we need a big play guy, but I'm not sure it's him. Can't complain tho, we didn't take Clausen/McCoy.

Wow, what a draft Suh is a monster, what else do I need to say? Best suffered a couple of freak injuries, If not he would of been ahead of Spiller. And Spievey in the 3rd is a steal. The guy is the perfect CB for our system.
Really liking what Mayhew is doing with the Lions. In his first 2 years he has gotten:
Stafford,Pettigrew,Delmas,Levy,Hill,Follet,Suh,Best,Spievey
not to metion adding KVB,Burlesson,Corey Williams, and Houston.
The Lions are actually building a team!
