Orlando had no cap sapce to keep Lee. In other words he had no leverage. Of course he wasn't going to get eqaul value for Lee. Indy had the cap to keep Bynum. He wasn't forced into a situation of, trade him or lose him for nothing. He had all the leverage in the deal. You can say their similar all day, but their not, not even close. I am convinced SAC has something on people here, lol. Not once, but twice, damn. Kudos to SAC though, well done. If im not mistaken, he had the cap space to sign Lee straight up. It was CP3 that would have put him over the top. I could be wrong, though. I haven't been well in tuned with the league over the past 3 weeks.

He had the cap to sign one or the other, I think...but he also had a few trades set up, where it was clear to the entire league that he needed to get Cap relief in a Lee deal, as well as try to get value.
We just don't see that Indy has these trades worked out where he would need the Cap, that's basically the difference - ORL technically "had" the cap to sign Lee or CP3 maybe, but instead of losing one of them, he moved one for value while also clearing more cap, and then needed that cap in his other deals to reshape his team.
My main concern is that Indy moves a player like Bynum for far less talent, just to have money for FA...and then no FA's come. If he doesn't make a big signing, this trade significantly hurts his team, and that was my main concern.

The great thing about this is it's still 3-2 in terms of reject-accept.
LAC can't vote (he has to stay neutral, I won't blame him for that.)
But what's the POINT OF KEEPING CHI as CM if he isn't simply going to do anything.
He has not said ONE WORD about this trade.
Just sayin.

Hmmm so it's going to get accepted? To me it seems like all the CM reject this trade other then OKC, since he allowed the Lee trade pass he wants to be fair and accept this. Orlando, because he agrees with what OKC thinks and he doesn't want his trade with LAC to get un-done. And then there is also LAC who doesn't know to reject or accept, because his decision might cost him Lee. I could also continue on with how the trades are different, the players are different, the cap situation are different, but these topics have already been heard from other GMs and I wouldn't want to tell the same tale over again.
