I really want to watch this game but ill be at work. Its intriguing for Blackhawks fans as its Toews, Keith, & Seabrook vs. Kane.
I think Canada wins going away. 6-2

U.S. wins it.
Surprising to say the least.

U.S. wins it. Surprising to say the least. Ryan Miller was just off the charts 42 saves, he won the game for the US. It's true you have a great Goaltender and you'll always win the game.

Ryan Miller was fantastic. Hes been fantastic all year for the Sabres. Probably the Vezina Trophy favorite.

Do or die for Canada today, the country will go into a state of emergency if we lose to the Germans tonight.

I think that will be able to pull it off, the game against the Russians is what I'm worried about.

I love how Canada has that "own the podium" motto this year when it is the U.S. that stepped up.

Well, for one. At least one of the member's of that team celebrating wasn't 21 and I'm not a proponent for underage drinking. Neither should the IOC. Secondly, they came back on the ice to celebrate the way they did. Why? If you want to go drink and smoke then go somewhere else to do it. What if the U.S. team had stayed out on the ice longer than expected? This was done just to rub it in the U.S. women's teams face.

It's not underage drinking though, every country has different rules for drinking, this is what I got for Canada. (Keep in mind that this is still slightly better then Holland, where you can drink at 16.) canadaonline.about.com/od/canadianlaw/g/drinkingage.htmBritish Columbia 19 But I did hear that one of the players was only 18 so that might cause some problems with the cops up there. I don't think this was done to rub it in USA's faces though, the stand and the rest of the arena was pretty much about empty. Here's the overall Legal Age Drinking list for every country. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_drinking_age

In Canada 10 provinces have the drinking age at 19 and 3 have it at 18. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the drinking age is 18. I seriously don't get whats the big deal about them drinking and smoking, I mean they just won the Gold and they want to celebrate. Going back on the ice I don't get though, they could have just stayed in the locker room like what everyone else does.
Also, if this was the Men's team doing this I don't think everyone would be pissed about it as much as they are for the Women's.

Also, if this was the Men's team doing this I don't think everyone would be pissed about it as much as they are for the Women's. Maybe. I just thought it was classless (returning to the ice) and completely not needed. I don't think anything should happen to them in terms of sanctions or an actual review by the IOC unless illegal activities occurred but it doesn't sound like that was the case outside of the underage drinking.

What a week for Canada, racking up the medals like Own the Podium predicted.
USA - Canada rematch for Men's gold. Should be a good one.
