2 horse race between Beasley and Love. Put up almost identical numbers. In the end, Beasley had a little edge in more categories.

The Los Angeles Clippers would like to acknowledge and congratulate Michael Beasley on the Rookie of the Year award! He played great all season and did a lot of good things for this team, especially for a rookie. We're glad all of his hard work paid off and was noticed by the GM's from the league.
Keep up the good work Mike, and we're trying to bring in some more talent around you for the future!

HAHAHA yea playing with Wade as the #1 option and still not being unleashed as the true #2 option, and he's putting up 16 and 7 on the year, oh yea and he's still just 20 years old! What a loser!! He's upped his FT% from 77 to 84% as well.
Fact is, if he was on a team as the #1 option or at least not on a team with a bonafide superstar he'd be putting up more like 20 and 9 or 10 and everyone would be on his jock.

He ain't Derrick Rose Nice ignorance ;-) No, he is not a Point Guard who has the ball in his hands all the time. He is a SF/PF who gets the ball after Wade, and Chalmers. Even after Jerm O'Neal sometimes b/c of how the offense runs. If Rose was playing with Wade he would not be putting up the same numbers. And my first point is the most important really - Rose is a PG with the ball all the time...Beasley is a forward who needs the ball passed to him, that's just how basketball works. didn't you know that?

Beasley in real life is going to be a stud in this league, just give him his time. It's a different position as LAC has said.
