nice job by Bill Bellgenius.
I am fine with going on it on 4th and 2, but on your OWN 30 YARD LINE, so your gonna give MANNING a short field.
I rather have him march down the field like Favre did against the 49ers then let him have the ball that close.
Talk about insulting your defense, isn't he a DEFENSIVE coach ANYWAYS.

I agree but that was a 1st down, Faulk caught that ball. Also on the last play of the game I was expecting a trick play, maybe the flank reverse out of the wildcat and allow Brady to throw it deep to Moss?

Dumb call. He must have ZERO faith in his defense. Punt the ball, and they have to go 80 yards in 2 minutes. Its possible, but it makes it that much harder.

what else can you expect from the Bengals, they are the Bengals (the Raiders of the Midwest.) They had good vibe going and now it's gonna be south because of L. Johnson's constant *****ing and throwing people under the bus.

Actually I agree with the call, everyone is saying that it would have been harder to go 80 yards in under 2 minutes but it's PAYTON MANNING. As long as he has enough time to run 5 plays going 80 yards is nothing.

I think it was more that he trusted that the chances of his offense converting on 4th and 1 was better than putting the ball in Manning's hands.

I think honestly NE is trying to get back to 2 years ago when there Offense just dominated people. I think it was more faith in his offense than no faith in his defense, when Brady threw 50 TD's that is something they would have done. They looked really good, I expect them to go pretty far this year.

At first I disagreed with the decision but now that I think about it more after 24-48 hours, I agree with what Belichick did.
it's not a slap in the face of defense because it's still the defense's job to stop them regardless of where they are on the field.
and not only do you not want Manning to have the ball, the PATS THEMSELVES have the best OFFENSE in the NFL, so why not use your strengths to win the game.
you have the best QB in the game, the best outside WR in the game, the best slot WR in the game, the best 3rd/4th down RB in the game in Faulk, so why not go for the win.
Now should he have managed his play calling on 3rd and 2 and the 2 TO better absolutely, but on 4th down I think he made the right call.

Saints and Colts 16-0?
Thoughts?

I think the Colts might actually lose to the Titans this weekend but if they win this weekend they go 16-0 and the Saints are just sick. They should finish 16-0 if they don't rest their starters.

Buy or Sell: Jeff Fisher getting fired if the Titans make the playoffs? If they make the playoffs? Sell, for sure. Even if they miss it, he stays. He should have a pretty nice leash down there.

I am sure you guys have heard this by now, that C. Henry had tragically lost his life to an accident. sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4750615First off I'd like to send my condolences to C. Henry's family, and may C. Henry RIP. To me this situation reminds me a lot of what happened to Sean Taylor of the Redskins couple of years ago, both were put on IR, both were in their homes, and something just tragically happened that took their life away, now the circumstances are different but both of them were changing their lives for the better, and just out of the blue something happened and they are not with us anymore. When people say life is too short, it's true life is too short it just is and that's just unfair, it's too unfair.

Stat for you OKC, With Collins: 0-6 With Young: 5-1 I rest my case. That doesn't rest ANY case, your buy or sell question was if the MADE the playoffs would he get fired, and if you make the playoffs it doesn't matter what the competing records of your quarter backs were it only matters that you MADE the playoffs. But seeing as they most likely wont make the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone during the off season.
