Change the title. Make it the mock and draft discussion thread? That way, it's cooler 'cause it has more posts. And there's no need for a 2nd thread.

Stafford deal is worth 72 mil, not 78 like orginally reported

I think Stafford going to Detroit opens it up more for the Seahawks. I want Curry or Smith (Jason). If not, trade down. Too bad those guys are also projected to go 3-2 to KC and St. Louis respectively.

I thought he would go to Denver at 12 (or whatever their first 1st is) for the longest of time. Apparently both KC and NE think he's the next Roosevelt Colvin from what I've heard. Which is why the Pats are rumored to want to trade up for him too.

Summarizing Seattle's day: Loved the Curry pick. Charlotte knows how excited I was for him to fall past the Chiefs. Now we have a great LB corps of Hill, Tatupu, and Curry, to replace Peterson. Strengthens the D, which was kinda crappy last year. I was never a fan of Mark Sanchez here. The 2nd pick traded to Denver was great. Again, as Charlotte knows, I wanted Eben Britton or Beatty here, but traded for a 1st next year, that's a steal. The trade for Unger, meh, I like him, it was unexpected, but I can live with it.
Also, LMFAO at Al Davis for falling in love with guys who run good 40 times.

I'm pretty pissed that the Broncos traded their first next year... Hopefully Smith can be good, and the Broncos do alright next year. I was surprised with us taking Moreno over Orakpo, but I don't think he fits our scheme. Moreno I think is awesome and I am glad they drafted him, Ayers too. No Raji or Brace sucks though...

www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mockLol, 3 of those guys there had DHB going to Oakland too. Either they're really smart and predicted Al Davis' love for guys like DHB, or they're just dumb and got lucky. The first guy also only misplaced 3 players. Take it FWIW.

I even called that they were gonna take DHB because he's fast, and Al Davis loves guys that are fast. Dumbass pick, Crabtree is great and would really help their offence.

CRABTREE WOULD NOT FIT THE RAIDERS AT ALL, HE WILL BE BETTER THEN BEY, BUT HE DOES NOT FIT THE RAIDERS AT ALL.
Crabtree played in a SPREAD OFFENSE, Bey played in a pro system in Maryland and the Raiders run a similar system in the NFL which probably is a traditional 5 to 7 step drop back and then launch it deep.

Detroit's Draft so Far:
I have warmed up to the idea of Stafford. I'm kind of liking the pick now. I lovved the Pettigrew pick. This team has never had a good TE and now they do, he is a great blocker and is going to be open in the middle all day long with CJ going deep. With the #33 they got a sick saftey. This kid is a insane hitter and great ball hawk. Now I really hope with our 2 3rd round picks we get Duke Robinson and Michael Johnson or the good MLB from South Carolina.

Hope my lions pick him up and pair him with Petetson and Sims.

Since Dallas hasn't picked yet, I'll go with my 3 other teams.
Jacksonville: Picked Monroe and Britton, both offensive tackle and can play guard. That will help fix the line and and get back to Jaguar "hit people in the mouth" football. Yeah they passed on Crabtree but Monroe was a much bigger need since they run the ball so hard, and Holt should be a good option for this year. Probably need to go WR or DT in round 3, but so far I like. Prediction: Jags Get 2nd in the AFC South (Wildcard)
Packers: I really like what they did as well, Raji was a GREAT pick and really fixed their 3 in the 3-4. Matthews fill their hole at LB and I see their front 7 look good.
NT: Raji DE's: Jenkins/Pickett? (they have another guy too) OLB: Matthews/Kampman ILB: Hawk/Barnett
I say that is pretty solid, have a pretty good secondary (Woodson and Harris at CB.) Getting back to form of last when they nearly went all the way. I'd like to see some Oline help in round 3 but like the Jags I like so far. Prediction: NFC North Champs
49ers: Singletary got him a winner in Crabtree, which isn't the type of player he wanted but 9ers didn't think he would be their either. It will be interesting to see what Alex Smith can do with Veron Davis and Crabtree to throw to. You have to believe Alex Smith has potentially the best chance to get them wins, but if he doesn't develop we will see Hill. If Smith starts to develop though, skys the limit for this team. Pretty solid D already, I'd like to see them go Oline in round but for now I like. Prediction: 2nd NFC West (Wild Card)
