sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3679931Bad trade for Denver, what are they thinking? Billups is okay but he isn't AI, and Dyess wasn't even going to start for Detroit? There is a year of difference between AI and Billups in age so Denver isn't getting younger. AI>>>>>>>Billups and if some of those young players play well for Detroit they could be good. Karl is an idiot and is ruining Denver, trades Camby for shit and AI for Billups, what is next?

Wow! I like this deal for both teams. Chauncey will make Melo a MVP candidate. Say all you want, but AI is not a PG and he does not make his teammates better. Detroit finally gets their go to scorer that they have lacked the last few years. Billups has not been big shot Billups the last few seasons.

I also like the deal for both teams...I just don't know why they wanted McDyess...Nene will go to the bench again?

Jose vs AI, that would be awful lol

Another way Denver's salary could screw them over. It could help them, but AI's definitely better than Billups. Amir Johnson better be good too if Detroit wants to win.

AI's better than Billups? Really? Is that why the Pistons actually do well in the playoffs and the Nuggets are stuck on the cusp? Iverson can score and that is it. Billups can defend, score, pass, and make his teammates better. Taking 25+ shots a game to score 25+ ppg isn't "better".

Well, if I were to pick the better player, I'd go with AI, but the better team player would be Billups. Just my personal opinion.

Billups!?!?! We're talking about Billups, it's not like he is Steve Nash. We are talking about Chauncey Billups.

Billups!?!?! We're talking about Billups, it's not like he is Steve Nash. We are talking about Chauncey Billups. Yeah, his ego actually might fit in a room. Again, Iverson is a pure scorer. He is very inefficient and imo hurts his team more than he helps. He takes about 10 more shots per game than he should. Oh, and he can't play a lick of defense. He'll jump passing lanes but his defense has only gotten worse. Billups has a better all around game and makes his teammates better. This is coming from a guy that think Billups is overrated or at least has been during his career.

Billups only was really good because of the players that surrounded him, If any PG had Hamilton, Prince, Sheed, and Wallace(when we had him) also Joe D said that now they dont have to run the half-court O all the time, and maybe play some more run and gun

Ahem! Don't forget about Portland! We only have about 30mil in salary. Granted, I'd prefer we move LaFrentz's expiring for someone good instead.

I said about NEXT SEASON, not the year after when LBJ is FA (in which BTW he might not opt out because of the new CBA after the 2010-2011 season.) I still think re-signing RIP is a bad move, I would just rather let him opt out and then trade Prince next season at deadline for couple of prospects, then sign 2 superstars (Lebron and possibly Amare) instead. Now unless they move T-Prince with Maxiell or A. Johnson for a good PF/C then I can uderstand keeping RIP.

Who makes his teammates better? Who plays better D? The Answer ain't the answer. He is an undersized scorer and now either he or Rip or Stuckey will be coming off the bench. Again, he is a scorer and that is all he brings to the table. Not sure how that makes Detroit better.
