We would like to offer Trevor the back-up SF role on our team a chance to get a title and grow some with our experinced starters. On the bench with him would be possibly Patterson along with Stuckey, Maxiell, and Warrick. He also has a lot of flexability with his contract.

The Charlotte Bobcats would like to offer Trevor Ariza a 5 year deal worth $7,500,000, with a player option on every year. Year 1: $500,000 Year 2: $1,000,000(PO) Year 3: $1,500,000(PO) Year 4: $2,000,000(PO) Year 5: $2,500,000(PO) *Note* We are using the rule that any team can sign a player for min. If I need to put my cap I will but I don't see why I should have too. All power was out in Charlotte yesterday so I had to submit my offer quickly and didn't get to sell my pitch to you. I am sorry but I can do it now Trevor you are a great young player but injuries have held you back. Come to Charlotte where you can be surrounded by other young players, like a TJ Ford. Ford can help you become all that you can be and vice versa. You are an open court player and with Ford dishing you the ball on the break you could score 8-12 in 20-25 mins a game. You will be the primary swingman backup (SG/SF) and be the 6th man. We like you so much, we will match DET's offer. Also Detroit is a lying sack of shit, there NO WAY he will start you over Grant Hill. He has his head up Stuckey's ass so you won't see any time at the backup 2, there is NO backup swingmen to compete with in Charlotte. Though we are trying to Nachabar he is more of a speical situation guy at the 4 when CV31 has to come out and we want someone who can hit the 3. Charlotte is a great place for you, I hope you will think about what I have said.

We also feel Detroit is a much better situation for Trevor than Cha.
Trevor can expand his game in Detroit playing along side some great starters and aso improving his youth with a young bench

Trevor will be the backup SF for us and will have the opportunity to help us compete for a championship. We love Trevor's athleticism and feel that he can help provide a spark of energy off the bench for us. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to get Trevor to Milwaukee.
Year 1 - $2,000,000 Year 2 - $2,000,000 Year 3 - $2,500,000 (Player Option) Year 4 - $2,500,000 (Team Option)

I don't really see how we can get the cap space to acquire Ariza, the Bucks offered much more money. We just signed Bostjan Nachabar who could be a backup 3 for us and we really like him. If Trevor wants to shock the league and come to Charlotte we will welcome him, if not we wish him the best in DET or MIL but he needs to remember that Detroit lied to him.

Its an ideal situation wherever my client decides to go to. He feels both teams are giving him exactly what hes been looking for here in free agency. Honestly its a coin flip.
Nonetheless, Trevor has decided to join the Bucks as he likes the guaranteed security of being on the team for awhile, rather than being dangled on the trade block as bait. Like Milwaukee stated, not having a revolving door when it comes to roster turnover is a huge asset.
