The Charlotte Bobcats would like to offer Jose Barea a 3 year deal worth $1,500,000, with a T.O. after this year.
Year 1: $500,000 Year 2: $500,000 Year 3: $500,000
Total: $1,500,000
Barea has been impressive with the Mavs in real life, and with lack of guards the Kitties don't mind giving him a shot.

Unnecessarily bidding up so much...I may make another offer front-end loaded, if the Player Agent thinks his player could be interested in that.

Lol, damn.
And Portland, the reason is that he wasn't playing for the Mavs early in the year, now he's doing good.

I've got cash to burn this season since all the damn good FA's resigned...may as well try and catch lightning in a bottle. If it burns out, I have him at a relative fair price for a backup...if he stays hot and plays even pretty well, I have him WAY cheap for 2 years at least.
I wouldn't be caught dead offering deals like Denver is though.
