I thought you were a Yankee fan? Nonetheless, I kinda wanted Putz dealt to the Mets. hell no i'm not a yankees fan lol. I'm a mets fan, but i dont like half the players they got on the team. I would consider myself a baseball fan, as it's my #1 sport, and i just root for players mostly. Lincecum and Pedroia are my favs (Hard not to root for 5'10 170, when your 5'10 and 170 lol). But, Wagner is done. By the time he comes back in 2010 he'll be done. He's been close to done for a long time. But, K-Rod is alot better than freaking Luis Ayala and Pedro Feliciano lol. I'm worried about Minaya though. It seems like he wants to build a team of stars, but if you look at the past world series winners, you need those role players (Shane Victorino for the Phillies, Pedroia and Ellsbury back in 07), which the mets don't have. We'll see how CC works out though, should be interesting to see. Media is already going nuts in the NY/NJ area.

As for Minaya yeah I'd be worried, notice how almost every player on every position of team is LATIN 1B Delgado 2B Castillo SS Reyes 3B Tatis OF Beltran OF Martinez SP Santana Closer K-Rod I guess he sin't trying to create the all Latin American team.

same here, I'm Asian (even though I keep telling my friends I am Black, and I am always gonna be black as far as I am concerned.)
and I am not trying to be a racist, but man Minaya just has a man-crush on Hispanic players, he just does.

haha nice.
And i agree. Charlie Manuel plays them more often too. Feliciano shouldn't even have a spot on the roster.

Damn, the Yankees are just raping the FA class. It's not even fair. Hasn't Cashman heard the economy looks worse than Sam Cassell's face? But, his name does have cash in it...

But, his name does have cash in it... stop crying about fair and not fair already, if the Yankees have money and resources to bring players to their team why not use it, don't blame them for using their money to bring players to win, that's what all organizations should do, you have the resources use it. And the Marlins president really needs to STFU, let the Yankees use their money, BETTER YET if it was not for the revenue sharing from the Yankees and Red Sox the Marlins would have a 7 million dollar payroll instead of a 25 million dollar payroll, their scouts isn't gonna save them forever you know. You got billionaire owners that has cash they can spend to GET quality players YET they refuse to use them, so basically they TAKE THE PEOPLE'S MONEY and get richer instead of using people's money to SIGN quality FA or trade for quality players with big salaries that are worth it.

I doubt they will with the squad they have. Nasty infield of A-Rod, Jeter, Cano, Teixeira. Outfield of Swisher, Matsui, and whoever the hell you wanna throw in. Posada catching, and a 1-2-3 pitching trio of C.C., Wang, Burnett. Damn are they handing out money. Lol @ the fact that no one else had them even really in consideration for Tex. I guess Bora$$ just accepted their first offer. Wanted revenge on the Sox maybe?

Meanwhile, the M's have signed Branyan and traded for Franklin G., Aaron Heilman, and a handful of minor leaguers. Woo! Peanuts to what the Yanks' have done.
